What if your home was filled with images of your family that told a story? Or captured the intimate moments between parents & children? Siblings? Grandparents? What if the images were of family members in a relaxed state and enjoying themselves?

Your family photos probably consist of images of your family which depict what they "look like". These type of images rarely capture the personality of the individual(s). I do away with the studio situation completely. I want to capture children, pets, families, etc. in relaxed environments where they are comfortable being themselves.

I want to tell the story of your family’s relationships and capture those intimate moments between parents and child, siblings, grandparents, or simply the expressions of the individual. FAMILY STORY PHOTOS are for any family set-up or ages.

Family Story Photo Sessions are not directed by me as much as I am documenting what is taking place--- interactions between the people involved and with their environment. This results in time spent having fun rather than posing in static groupings with the “cheese” smile. My style is a photojournalistic approach.

Sessions are conducted in the comfort of your home or a chosen location that you and your family will enjoy. (See my list of suggested locations).

Procedure: When you call me for a FAMILY STORY SESSION, I will schedule a time to meet with you to discuss your thoughts and the procedures.You will select the location in which the session will take place and a date and time will be scheduled. During the photo session, I will tag-a-long with your family and simply document your activities and interactions. Although I may suggest some situations/poses as I see moments present themselves, the majority of photos will be photojournalistic. I will try to be as unobtrusive as possible.

Time: The time frame of 2-3 hours is so it allows children who may have some sadness or a tantrum, to calm down, take some time, and get happy again. It also allows me to photo more activities.

Story Package consists of a 2-3 hour tag-a-long photo session at a selected location.

One 2-3 hour photo session within a 60 minute drive from my home. (Farther distances available for additional travel fee).
